Please read the Emergency Summary July 27 2022 provided to Resident and Family Council, this summary details the changes made to our policies to reflect the new requirements from Fixing Long-Term Care Act 2021. Vision has had emergency plans in place with corresponding training since the Home began and will continue to do so to ensure the safety of our residents and staff. Paper copies of the Emergency Plans are available upon request.
All of our Resident's rooms are serviced by Air Conditioning, throughout the Nursing Home.
Vision Family Council meets on the 3rd Wednesday of September, November, January, March and May. Most of what a family council does is accomplished during the regular meetings through discussions and planning. Individual members may take on added tasks that interest them or are a part of a special project.
Membership in the family council fluctuates and changes, as would be expected, which means that there is always a need for participation from new families.
If you have questions please contact our Chairperson of Family Advisory Council, Debbie Krukowski at visionfamilycouncil@gmail.com.
Employee Safety is a top priority at Vision Nursing and Rest Home. To assist employees we have two policies governing reporting of workplace harassment and workplace violence. Both will be investigated in a timely and confidential manner.
